The BIBS pacifiers are available in many different cool colours.
The pacifier is designed to support the baby's sucking reflex and the shape mimics the shape of the breast. The shape of the pacifier is round, this is also called the cherry shape.
BIBS has a teat part that consists of 100% natural rubber. It is velvety soft, flexible and feels natural.
The flat surface allows for natural tongue placement, which is gentle on the palate and gums. The symmetrical design always ensures a correct and stable fit while supporting a suction technique that requires minimal suction.
The lightweight shield of the BIBS pacifier is round, but curves away from the face. This allows air to reach the sensitive skin around the mouth, reducing any irritation. The shield is made of polypropylene.
Latex takes on the temperature of the baby's mouth more quickly and feels extra soft, which makes it highly acceptable.
Cleaning: The BiBS pacifier can be cleaned by placing it in boiled (not boiling) water for 5 minutes before use (in a clean bowl). After this, you can clean the teat by pouring boiled water over it. Before use, squeeze out any water from the teat once the teat has cooled down. Pick them up and let them dry on a clean towel.
Correct pacifier use:
- Only offer the pacifier continuously for the first 2-3 months (to stimulate/satisfy/sucking needs)
- Wean off from about 16-18 months (when the canines come through), then only use the pacifier when going to sleep or in case of illness, sadness, restlessness, etc.
- STOP before the 3rd year of life (very important) any abnormal teeth will then align properly again.
- Replace the teat regularly (4-6 weeks). With a latex teat, monitor the growth of the teat and replace it when the teat gets bigger.
- Please note : a pacifier is always an aid and should be used as such!
Material: 100% natural rubber, 100% BPA free and PVC free
Safety: The BIBS pacifiers have been tested and found suitable for European regulations.
Maintenance: Store the BiBS pacifier dry and clean. Do not place the BiBS pacifier in direct sunlight or heat. This will soften the rubber.
It is recommended to replace BIBS pacifiers every six weeks.
