The BIBS pacifiers are available in many different cool colors.
The pacifier has been developed to support the baby's sucking reflex and the shape mimics the shape of the breast. It also promotes similar tongue placement and sucking technique as breastfeeding. The shape of the teat is round, this is also called the cherry shape.
BIBS has a teat part that consists of 100% natural rubber. It is velvety soft, flexible and feels natural. The valve allows air to escape so that the teat forms naturally in the baby's oral cavity

The lightweight shield of the BIBS teat is round, but curves away from the face. This allows air to reach the sensitive skin around the mouth and reduces any irritation. The shield is made of polypropylene.

Latex takes on the temperature of the baby's mouth more quickly and feels extra soft, making it highly acceptable.

Cleaning: The BiBS pacifier can be cleaned by placing it in boiled (not boiling) water (in a clean bowl) for 5 minutes before use. After this, you can clean the teat by pouring boiled water over it. Before use, squeeze any water out of the teat as soon as the teat has cooled. Pick them up and let them dry on a clean towel.

Correct pacifier use:

• Only offer the pacifier continuously for the first 2-3 months (to stimulate/satisfy/suck need)
• Taper off from about 16-18 months (when the canines emerge), then only use the pacifier at bedtime or in case of illness, sadness, restlessness, etc.
• STOP before the 3rd year of life (very important) any abnormal teeth will then align neatly again.
• Replace the teat regularly (4-6 weeks). Keep an eye on the growth of the latex teat and replace it when the teat becomes larger.
• Please note : a pacifier is always a tool and should be used as such!

Safety : The BIBS pacifiers have been tested and found suitable for the European Rules.

Maintenance: Keep the BiBS teat dry and clean. Do not place the BiBS pacifier in direct sunlight or heat. This softens the rubber.
It is recommended to replace the BIBS teats every six weeks.

Replacement

Replace pacifiers every 4-6 weeks for both safety and hygiene reasons. Monitor for any changes in the surface, changes in size and shape or cracks in the material and replace the pacifier if you notice any differences. Pull the pacifier in all directions and inspect it carefully before use and replace the pacifier at the first sign of damage or weakness
