Kiko + wants to grow with children.
Children are like little artists
All like a twinkling star in the sky
We will walk together and share every step
Kiko+ toys help children use their imagination and enjoy every moment of play.
A special moment of magic is what Kiko + hopes to realize as the spark in a child's eyes.
Kiko+ comes from Japan and was created by Kaz Shiomi, Kukkia's director.
Kaz wanted to produce wooden toys with fun shapes and vibrant colors in collaboration with several guest product designers. Kiko+ debuted at the Maison & Objet Paris salon in January 2011.
When producing the toys, they maintain a healthy environment and use certified FSC® wood.
In addition, they use safety standards: ASTM International, (the world's largest scale "ASTM", safety standards) · Also they have the standard 'Conformite Europeenne' of Europe "CE EN71", standard safety of toys. If you look closely at the kiko+ logo, it uses a logo where the font of the first character is different. This is it represents all the different races, languages and cultures of children from all over the world. The shape of the 'k' looks a bit like someone is moving forward to the next letter 'k'.
The meaning of "child" is also brought to the name. In Japanese "ko" means "child" and "ki" means "wood".
There is also a meaning for the '+'. The '+' represents the feeling of gratitude for the product that was created with the support of the people who made the brand possible.
Another meaning for the '+' is that they hope that children of many generations will enjoy playing with the toys.
