Mini Rodini is a Swedish children's clothing brand founded in 2006 by illustrator Cassandra Rhodin. It's all about playfulness, personality, imagination and creativity.
Impact on sustainability of Mini Rodini
Mini Rodini has one of the most sustainable ranges on the market: The collections include more than 99% of products made from sustainable materials each year. By sustainable materials we mean non-conventional materials with a lower impact on both nature and human health, such as organic cotton, recycled polyester and Modal.
Mini rodini also has a selection of upcycled products where they reuse leftover fabric from previous collections. The products are only called sustainable if the composition consists of at least 80% non-conventional materials, while most other products usually have 50%. For ethical and ecological reasons we do not use hides, suede, fur, feathers, wool with musling or conventional silk in any of the products or collaborations.
Vision of Mini Rodini
As an independent company we have the ability to hold on to our core values. We believe we have the power to change and we are leading our company in the direction of the future we want. This includes our policies and work with animal welfare.
Since 2018, Mini Rodini has donated money every year to NGOs that work with endangered or vulnerable animals. They choose an NGO and a charity and design a charity collection, donating 20% of the sales price. In addition to donating money, they use the platforms to help inform and educate about the animal cause and organization.
