Ready for spring and summer?

Are you ready for the nice weather? Have you thought about well-fitting and protective swimwear for your little one? We at Mevrouw Aardbei have. And we have not only thought about swimwear/swimsuits but also about many more beautiful and useful things that go with nice weather and many hours outside with your little one. To name a few: really great sun hats and caps with a peak, sun cream, really cool swimming bands, beautiful bath capes, but also beautiful outdoor toys.

Good protection against accidents and sunlight

In spring and summer you will spend many more hours outside with your baby or little one. Enjoy the fresh air, the light and the sunshine. Healthy, for body and mind. Swimming in a pool, but also in the open air in summer, is one of the nicest things for your baby or little one. Whether it is splashing around in a tub or shallow bath, playing with all kinds of water toys, or floating along with mom and dad when they go swimming themselves: they usually find it all equally wonderful.
It is of course important for you that your child wears well-fitting, suitable swimwear. Not only does this ensure comfort for your little one, it also prevents accidents and provides sufficient protection against sunlight. Because it can quickly become too much for those little ones. Direct sunlight on the skin is not healthy and especially dangerous for young children. Not only does the delicate skin burn very quickly, but we now know that the amount of sunlight plays an important role in the development of skin conditions later in life. So it is important to think carefully about choosing swimwear for your little one.

Great swimwear from Liewood

Even if we say so ourselves: at Mevrouw Aardbei we have again managed to score all kinds of great swimming outfits. Liewood not only has the most fun sun hats, but is also the brand that we have lost our hearts to when it comes to swimwear. The clothing is made of a combination of nylon and spandex. That means light, stretchy and quick-drying and therefore wonderfully comfortable to wear. The material does not discolour in chlorinated water, it provides good protection against UV radiation and is machine washable at 30 degrees. And it looks - as we said - really cool.
We bought three different lines. The Max swimsuits for when you choose maximum sun protection; the baby swimpants for the little ones and the Otto swimpants for toddlers, preschoolers, toddlers and kids!
The Max swimsuits are a kind of onesies with short sleeves and short legs. They provide maximum protection when needed; think for example of a day at the beach. Because they are made of one piece they also stay in place in the water and the zipper in the middle makes it easy to put on and take off. Highly recommended! And then those beautiful designs. We have the choice for you from stripe mustard/cream (the fashion color of this season), the Leo beige beauty (also completely hot), the cat rose for the girls who are completely crazy about pink and the panda dumbo grey (always a hit).

With the baby swim pants we have separate girls and boys swim trunks. We do come across the same designs: the stripe mustard for boys and girls, the leo beige beauty and cat rose for the girls and the dumbo grey for the boys.
And for the slightly older boys there are the Otto swimpants with a choice of mustard/cream and panda dumbo grey.

With a sun hat, sunscreen and bath cape in the bag, we are ready. Bring on the nice weather and the swimwear!
